Lamarde is a simply thoughtful space dedicated to smoking. Clicking though the Gallery I am puffed back in time when smoking was not cool but expected and celebrated. It was good for your health, doctors and pregnant women smoked and the tobacco companies didn’t yet know that it was addictive so they were actively fighting for your business. Boxes of cigarettes were all drawn in technicolor with stark typography, national pride and an elusive wisp of smoke. If the graphic design doesn’t do it for you check out Lamarde’s YouTube channel.
