So which is better?

I suppose what I am referring too is the creative job situation. There are so many of us freelancing due to this financial situation the companies (in my opinion) are almost taking advantage of it rather than employing, say, assistants on a fixed contract they’ll get a freelancer that they can let go when ever they wish.
At first I was not so keen to this idea, however the freelancer if clever and strategic can take advantage of this, getting enough work to build up prices and manage their own time etc. till the dream job lands in the lap.
My name criticism of this whole world is, does creativity in it’s purest form still exist?
Where have the artists like Basquiat gone, the one’s that don’t think about money just art and drugs?

The people who live for the moment

Did these people ever really exist or are they a formulation of a society thats searching for a sort of satisfaction.
This is the thought that perplexes me today.
Any ideas?

it is so true, free lancers are being taking advantage of but still we need to work and as for creativity it needs money to continue creating as well. so there is no specific answer, just choices.
